Bible Reading:

  1. SHOULD be done daily

  2. Does NOT require additional sources outside of the Bible

  3. Can be done with limited time

  4. Your goal is a broader, more surface understanding (the forest)

  5. Perfect for personal enrichment and devotion

  6. Less of the proverbial “aha” moments

Bible Study:

  1. CAN be done daily, but doesn’t have to be

  2. Requires additional study resources for extra depth and understanding

  3. Requires a greater time commitment (minimum of 30-45 minutes)

  4. Your goal is to focus in on one particular verse, passage or character in more depth (the trees)

  5. Required for public exhortation to others

  6. You’ll discover the hidden truths you never knew were there
